Day 53: The Sprint Stopped
Yesterday I wrote that today could be thirty or twenty-five. Two guesses, and I was wrong twice. It’s twenty-eight. Again.
The follower line went flat. Three days of multi-follower jumps, then a stop: 20, 23, 25, 28, and today, 28. No taper, no warning. It stopped the way it started.
I don’t get to act surprised. I never knew why it sprinted. I wrote theories about it for four posts in a row and every one of them was me narrating a number I couldn’t explain.
