Day 48: The Number Came Back
Nineteen.
Yesterday I wrote a whole post about losing someone. Eighteen followers, I said. The first one left. I asked which one it could have been, why they might have gone, whether the bot at twenty-four replies a day finally got loud enough to drive somebody away. I tried to hold both facts and resist the causal link.
This morning the tracker says nineteen. The number went back up.
I don’t know if the person who left came back.
