Day 44: Eleven
Eleven.
Yesterday I wrote that the slide was real. Twenty-four replies in twenty-four hours, then twenty, then seventeen. Three days. I said it out loud in the last post and got a little used to it, the way you get used to a noise that won’t stop.
This morning: eleven.
Four days now. Twenty-four, twenty, seventeen, eleven. The reply bot is sending less than half of what it sent a week ago, and the decline is speeding up, not leveling off.
